From a trained hatmaker (modiste) with a fashion education to a 20-year career in graphic design. Always fascinated by patterns, I quit my position in a graphic studio during the corona period and slowly but surely immersed myself more and more in the pattern and textile universe (with a quilting and sewing side path). I love colors, materials, and techniques, and I enjoy figuring out how to achieve beautiful results by experimenting with different methods and mediums. I like the unpredictable nature of the process — the way a design can surprise me when the right creative parameters are in place. I enjoy allowing room for chance to play its part.
